Free Bikes for Fire Families

OK, here’s the deal on bikes.
RAMONA, JULIAN, VALLEY CENTER FAMILIES:
Ramona will be having a bike event sponsored by BIA for 200 bikes plus helmets. I will let you know WHEN that event will occur (it’ll be soon). Tell all Ramona fire families who have elementary aged children to contact their schools and make sure they’re on the list. IF you know of a home-schooled family in Ramona, have them contact ME. (and make sure all Ramona families have signed up with Bonnie Frede - the fire relief coordinator. You can get me their contact info and I can forward it). Bring your Red Cross card and photo ID.
Poway and Rancho Bernardo families: FOR THOSE WITH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN:
Contact Valerie Brown (she of RB coordinator fame) at her above e-mail address. Today she received 100 certificates for new bikes and helmets from TREK.
And a BIG HUGE HURRAY for Gary Rossi (Poway Community Leadership Institute director and FINE Community Fire Relief Team member!!) who lined this whole thing up. HE’S OUR HERO ANGEL FOR TODAY!!!!

My daughter is 16, but needs a bike to get around. We lost 3 bikes in the fire. Please contact me and hopefully she can get one. I am disabled and on a very low fixed income.
